One day, I’d like to? see you build a MAME arcade cabinet that uses an older pre-XP computer as a motherboard.

just go to properties and? enable mouse input then use the track ball, thats what i would do no need to map buttons.

I guess you could map the gun cross-air controls to the joystick if you set the sensitivity correctly. Is Exidy’s Crossbow? on there?

Having? a MAME machine I would dedicate to original cabs like IREM, TAITO, CAPCOM, etc… No NES, SNES, GEN, N64, PS1 or anything like that just classic arcade titles…

… ok it might take what seems like forever given the amount of games, why no-one bothers with it really when making theyr own systems.. but when your company is based around selling these machines, you only have to do it once or pay someone to do it for a crate of beer or something, and every client will? see that you have gone to the effort to make them a fun hassle free machine.. above and beyond the service they were expecting, is what makes companys stand out.

I agree but feel the build went even lazier than? that, why not have 2 versions of the emulators, one with games that work 100% and 0 duplicates, and one they can load up via windows. As it stands, I dont know what is worse.. the idea that the client has to learn which games to laod and which not, then probably go through themselves and delete every dodgy rom.. or them showing off theyr new expensive (I guess) arcade machine to friends and them going through game after game that doesnt work..
