Part 84 of my ‘Let’s Play’ gameplay and commentary in the new MMO, Rift, by Trion. In this episode we head to an area named ‘Twilit Stand’ (sic) where we get charged with the task of destroying some Sacrificial Altars, and hunting down an NPC named ‘Drecht’ who is carrying the Infernal Transmitter that we need for our quest. We then come across the corpse of Delia upon an altar that offers us a quest, asking us to slay the Envoys of Gorvaht that killed and sacrificed Delia in Twilit Stand, and to then find Doris Fedinar at Three Springs and tell her of her sister’s fate.. Hey sambo its Radiationstorm from Seraphim =D With the instant adventures, i kept my 100% exp potions from when i started? the game and got into an instant adventure at level 48 in stillmoor, i popped one of those potions on and i leveled from 48-50 in 30 minutes flat,
so definately give it a try when your that level 
.

Thanks for the video. I may sub back to Rift again after my month of WoW. It’s kind of fun hopping between MMO’s at a whim.

One thing that hasn’t been mentioned about the? Instant Adventures is that the difficulty scales up/down as the group size changes. The groups can be anything from 1 player up to full raid size of 20 players. Well worth doing just because they are fun but you do get some nice exp & rewards as a bonus, even including some epic gear and a mount (though it has to be said the gear/mount are somewhat rare, which is as it should be imo).

I kind of get the feeling that Rift is merely a polished version of WoW, which, by all means, I’ve been waiting for. After playing WoW for so long it’s going to be good to have something new that’s relatively similar to? the style of MMO I love

im kinda ignorant ont eh games, but whats the combat style of rift? is it a kinda game where u just press buttons and blast spells like everquest or is it a click combat kinda thing where you have to hit and block like? DDO?
