if you think about it you only need to do it 4 times, 1 for each archetype, unless you wnna make a warrior, rogue, cleric, and mage on both defiant and gaurdian sides which? is just pointless, you can have 6 roles in RIFT and you can respec anytime, i dont see why they need more starting zones

rift is dark cuz its realistic with? realistic weather. But if the clouds are gone and its daytime, its realisticly bright out like a summer day.

the real thing what I love about world of warcraft and always will is the way the world and how its all done, like looking at the first image at 0:01 in my opinion rift does look better yes but right away I notice elwynn forest, goldshire. so nice…
the thing I dislike about rift is how its so dark. like the world and the textures …. like? its dirty dark..

This? is true and I agree. Rift needs more starting area’s, maybe one starting are for each of the 4 classes.

Runescape is a browser based FTP mmo which will always have a large player base because it’s err….free, SWTOR is going PTW/FTP because subs hit below 1mill and Aion has been FTP for some time now so again will of attracted a few more players. Warhammer has been dead for ages and 2nd life…..well that’s just an online virtual meeting advertising hub, it’s hardly what I’d call a game. Rift has it’s first expansion? coming up and it’s future looks brighter than ever, but it’s dying right?

i totally agree with all that you’re? saying, there’s just one thing i don’t like about rift but love in wow is the starting areas. In rift there’s only 1 starting area for both factions and the quests get older after 8 times.

Yeah in rift they go for quality. Thats why there is daily 5 minute? downtime patch to fix random things. I can deal with that more than i can a once a week downtime for 6-24 hours like on wow. And there is communication between developers and players in rift constantly. They just had an event all last week where we got to play with the developers in pvp conquest and if you killed a developer you got a title and stuff. Not only is there constant comm from players to devs’ they play with you also.

I think that the Quality of the Game is more important than the Quality of their business; They aren’t a money hungry business that attempts? to appeal to everyone and everything they focus on making the quality of the game better to their already large player base.

well i think you see the same people over and over in? wf’s cuz you que the same time they do lol.. Also, more subs mean nothing. If you look at what the games offer, quality of content, polished content, amount of contiuous new content, etc, rift is far superior to any game. You cant have a shitty computer and play it / enjoy its graphical splendor if yur getting 10fps on low gfx renderer lol. It requires a fairly expensive computer to play which most people dont have =/= less subs

i like how u think ur teaching me something here…if rift wants to survive they need to spend $ expanding server locations & merging shards since there are only 8 left per battle group instead of setting? their eyes on expanding to china
i play rift a lot & i see the same people over & over in wfs cus the game is dying-
can’t even get a full wf if cq’s on, so obviously, more people agree that rift’s not better than wow…even swtor,warhammer. 2nd life, runescape, & aion have more subs

i use macros in wow too but only one hit can be used (i use one that has trinket, potion, cold blood, then envenom) u can only use one attack per macro in wow, in rift u can list all ur builders & a finisher in one macro & mash one button repeatedly
try comparing rift to a more modern game in a few weeks here, k? there’s no reason to compare it to wow other? than to try & take some of wow’s massive sub base & that will never happen cus of the pc requirements, as i said earlier

Yeah, I guess thats true. Although I haven’t done raids? in Rift yet, so I don’t know if thats true.
Honestly Rift is much better, a big reason is that there is no cookie cutter spec, you have a great amount of customization when it comes to making your spec.

well rift requires more cuz in pvp theres so many different specs you can have per class, you never know what yur fighting vs in wow its? always one of three builds per class. and raids in rift are a lot more difficult. so player skill wise it takes more to be good in rift.

Lol, you are delusional. I have a macro in wow with 13 abilities on it. My entire rotation is on it. Stop making shit up and lying to try and make a point. I know everything there is about both games. fps is all based on my computer which is a massive gaming rig. ping is internet latency. i live in wisconsin though. my latency? is usually 8-10ms. I have a 100meg download / 20 meg upload fiber optic connecting
