It’s a game with magic, creatures? made of solid stone, “rifts” and all that kind of stuff.
The only games out there would be simulators if the gaming industry followed you and your “THERE MUST BE LOGIC!”.

either that or? it will set up a new plane of existance in which both realities exist and you continue existing in the new existance while the old existance remains untouched. Though yours sounds much more logical depending of if you believe in multiverses or not.

@Oremir Finally someone else notices that! I hate it when these fuckers go “Oh, the Earth’s doomed, lets just go back in time and fix it! No fucking problem there!” YOU CAN’T TRAVEL IN TIME FOR A PURPOSE. It has to be random. You go back/forward for a reason, as soon as that is? resolved you had no reason to go, reverting everything back to the way it was, meaning you did go and so on. The paradox would tear apart time itself. I know its a fantasy and all, but ffs. They should have SOME logic.

I’l one up you there ; lets say they sucseed and lock and/or kill all the dragons/badguys, then this means that the future is now a? good happy place, wich in turn means they never have to send you back to the past, wich means you wernt there to lock up the dragons, wich means the future is horrible wich means you’re stuck in a terrible time-loop!
