WipEout was in development for PS4 before Studio Liverpool was closed today, a source has told Eurogamer.
The next-gen WipEout has been called, “dramatically different” by the source, and was said to have been some 18 months along in development.
The source also revealed that the studio was working on a game similar to Splinter Cell. The jury’s out on whether or not this was a continuation of Sony’s Syphon Filter series.
