			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>The full list of speakers has been released for November&#8217;s Montreal International Games Summit, with Ryan Challinor, Craig Morrison and many other luminaries giving talks on various areas of the videogames business.</p>
<p>The full list, available at the summit&#8217;s website, brings together more than 80 industry figures to join Ed Fries and Ron Carmel, who will be providing the main keynotes for the event.</p>
<p>Neville Page will be speaking on creative character development from his perspective as an industry designer in the arts and visual effects field, while industry veteran Richard Borenstein will give an address on monetisation and accessing the virtual wallet. They&#8217;ll be joined by Rafael Chandler, a writer who has worked on SOCOM, MAG, U-Wars and Rainbow Six: Lockdown as he gives a speech on narrative. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>Zenimax Media-owned publisher Bethesda is expanding further into Europe by opening an office in Eindhoven, intended to oversee its business in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.</p>
<p>The office is the fifth international centre of operations in addition to London and Tokyo, as well as the Paris and Frankfurt offices which the company opened earlier this year. The company&#8217;s home office is in Rockville, Maryland USA.</p>
<p>Heading up the new office will be territory general manager Menno Eijck who previously worked in the same position for Namco Bandai Partners Benelux.</p>

										Sony&#8217;s PSP handheld shot to the top of the Japanese hardware chart last week, as well as taking the top two places in the software chart.

										Capcom&#8217;s Monster Hunter Diary sits firmly at number one with 256,000 sales, followed by Namco Bandai&#8217;s Ace Combat X2: Joint Assault at two with 58,000. A third new PSP title, Hakuouki: Zuisouroku Portable, took fifth place with 24,000 sales.
									</p>
<p>
										The PSP itself sold 55,112 units compared to the 27,554 which saw it take second place last week. Sony also took the second place in the hardware chart with the PS3 shifting 24,053 units. All hardware platforms saw slight reductions in their sales figures, apart from the PSP and the PSPgo, which crept up from 631 to 836.

										 49 Per cent of revenue was from Xbox 360 games, 44 from PlayStation 3 titles, compared to 32 and 12 per cent respectively for the same period in 2009.</p>
<p>
										Wii revenues plummeted from 16 per cent for the quarter ending July 31 last year to 1 per cent in the most recent quarter &#8211; a marginal figure also claimed by PSP and DS, down from 10 and 4 per cent respectively. PC dropped from 14 to 4 per cent.</p>

<p>The Earl&#8217;s Court event is the UK&#8217;s largest consumer games show, and now adds Bethesda titles RAGE, Hunted: The Demon&#8217;s Forge, Fallout: New Vegas and Brink to its roster of publicly-showcased games.</p>

<p>The report by Develop did not name the mystery firm, but if it is indeed American, earlier suggestion that Realtime World&#8217;s Dundee-based bosses Dave Jones and Ian Hetherington were planning on buying the social game back would appear unfounded.
