Capcom has just unleashed the first batch of screenshots from their upcoming 3DS version of Super Street Fighter IV, as well as a few screens from their upcoming original 3DS title, Resident Evil: Revelations.  The Resident Evil screens are taken from the teaser trailer, but these Super Street Fighter IV shots are the first look at the new 3DS version.

How do these Street Fighter pics compare to the HD versions?  Can the 3DS really pull off magical portable 3D versions of games that the Wii can’t handle?  The thing is a beast.  Have a gander at Capcom’s first 3DS efforts, sans the 3D effects of course.

The rest are available in the gallery below.

Let’s hope Capcom comes up with a clever way to streamline the name, because the above is a mouthful. Joining the roster of other titles set to debut with the 3DS, Capcom sent some new screens of their flagship fighting franchise our way .

As will be true with any 3DS screens, the magic of seeing in 3D is obviously lost without the compatible hardware. Still, with a little imagination, it’s not hard to visualize dragon punching and hurricane kicking in the third dimension.

Check out the gallery below.

Preview: Super Meat Boy

by Salat on June 19, 2010 · 1 comment

Super Meat Boy could become our newest addiction. Microsoft and developer Team Meat brought the Xbox Live version to E3, and we thoroughly enjoyed beating levels at the expense of the game’s hero. If sacrificing one’s body to rescue a fair maiden held hostage by a fetus sounds like a fun time (and it certainly should), this downloadable game should make it onto your most wanted list.
