The winners of the 2012 PSN Gamers’ Choice Awards have been chosen. While we’re sure the developers and publishers appreciate the honor of the prestigious awards, the upshot is that all of the winners will receive a heavy discount this week. Specifically, each game will be marked down 30 percent, while PlayStation Plus subscribers can snag the winners at a full 50 percent off.

Winners include everything from PSN exclusives (Infamous: Festival of Blood) to full PS3 game downloads (Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood) to indie darlings (Limbo). Once the weekly PSN update goes up later today, each winner will be discounted for a week. You can check out the full list of winners after the break.

The Carnival of the Ascended has already launched, an epic seven week event celebrating Rift’s first anniversary. Earlier today, Trion has announced several bonus promotions going on throughout the month of March. Previous subscribers to Rift can check out the game again with the Return to Telara, which gives a full week of unrestricted gameplay from March 8 – March 14. After the week is over any characters above level 20 will be inaccessible without an active subscription.

SSX Demo Coming Next Week

Get your snowboards ready, because you’ll be playing the demo for the SSX reboot next week. Creative director Todd Batty said the demo should hit Xbox Live on February 21, worldwide. On the PlayStation Network, the demo will release in the US on February 21 and reach Europe on February 22.

While the demo will only feature one primary playable character, you can unlock a second by referring a friend. You’ll be able to try out Ridenet, and the demo will cover four events and two tutorials, including a sky diving lesson.

SSX releases on playStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 28 in the US, and March 2 in Europe.
