Mordin has got to be my Favorite Character.

@Scanny524 I agree he was the best character in the game. he has the ability to put aside his personal feelings to do what is necessary for the greater good. but the feelings are still there, and they hurt him. :’(

I loved Mordin he was so deep a character, he was an actual person with beliefs, morals and a view of right and wrong. Probably my favourite male character (Legion isn’t male right?) ^.^

@Radwar99 He developed immensely from when you met him in the clinic. You learned that he’s practically the Dr Mengele of space but even if he can justify everything with logics and reason He can’t quite justify it to his own conscience. Add to that a crisis of faith, deeply rooted morals and a genuine will to save and preserve life even if he has to make terrible decisions to do so. “Lots of ways to help people. Sometimes heal patients; sometimes execute dangerous people. Either way helps.”

psychee1 September 3, 2010 at 2:42 pm

@Radwar99 Funny, I never actually considered my characters for their tactical aspects until I played on insanity and that was the third playthrough. For me it was all about what characters I liked the most. Zaeed’s grim and gritty style immediately won me over, like Shale in Dragon Age. Garrus who was already cool in ME1 being a renegade cop has gotten even cooler by taking it into his own hands and Mordin… Mordin was simply a league of his own.

Radwar99 September 3, 2010 at 3:14 pm

@psychee1, For me, favorites in ME1 or 2 depends on what class I’m playing and what I’m going up against. Organics (Mordin, Liara & Miranda are great), Tech & shields (Miranda & Tali) are the ones I chose most of the time.
If I have to chose 1 character that’s the most useful in all situations though, I’ll have to go with Miranda. She has both Warp & Overload which dissolve ANY of the enemies defenses, plus she gives everyone an extra 15% bonus in weapon damage, can’t go wrong with that.

Radwar99 September 3, 2010 at 3:52 pm

@psychee1 He’s extremely powerful against organics due to his powers like incinerate and neural shock. I used him with Miranda in the last mission (it’s pratically powergaming to use those two together against organics). Miranda’s warp took care of the collectors barriers & most of their armor, then Mordin finished them off with incinerate). Add the fact that my adept had warp aswell, kept killing Harbinger’s collector in a few seconds, almost never had time to react most of the time, lol.

Mordin, Garrus and Wrex are easily my three favourite playable characters through ME1 and 2.

quijeros September 3, 2010 at 4:44 pm

It’s weird to hear Mordin talk with… subject pronouns.

Moaradin September 3, 2010 at 5:19 pm

@Zain844

Garrus and Legion are both surprises in the story. If the did a trailer, it would just spoil it for us.

gurezurei September 3, 2010 at 5:39 pm

I held the line.

gurezurei September 3, 2010 at 6:31 pm

@Zain844

i hope so, but it could be a bit of a large spoiler.
Geth on Shep’s team?! GOD! Surprising!
Bioware wants us to be surprised in many ways . . . .

Forrest569 September 3, 2010 at 6:40 pm

He is the very model of a scientist Salarian
He studied species Turian, Asari, and Batarian
Hes quite good at genetics as a subset of biology,
Because He is an expert which he knows is a tautology.

Hes xenoscience studies range from urban to agrarian,
He is the very model of a scientist Salarian!

Zain844 September 3, 2010 at 6:59 pm

they should have done a trailer for legion
